Jim Hamrick was a man whose life was a reflection of his unwavering faith and dedication to missionary work. Known for his compassionate heart and boundless enthusiasm for spreading the Gospel, Jim's vision was for every believer to actively participate in missions, whether across the street or across the globe.
In alignment with Jim Hamrick's visionary legacy, the Northeast Florida Baptist Association commits to "Mission Forward: From Local Congregations to Global Missions." Our mission is to inspire and facilitate our member churches' active pursuit of missions. Through this fund, we aim to extend Jim's passion for evangelism and service from our local community to the furthest reaches of the globe.
Florida Baptist Financial Services, established in 1947, manages over $310 million in assets, aiding thousands of Florida Baptists in resource management and growth for ministry purposes. They offer a range of services including estate planning, church loans, charitable giving, stewardship consulting, investing, cash management, and ministry accounting. Their mission is to support financial prosperity among God's people, enabling them to concentrate on their spiritual missions.
Established on March 29, 2004, the R. Niel Hampton Jr. Scholarship, a collaboration between the Hampton family (River Road Baptist Church) and the Florida Baptist Financial Services, offers financial aid for college or seminary to individuals committed to full-time ministry, honoring the memory of R. Niel Hampton Jr. and supporting future ministry leaders. Apply Here
